When you create an account we collect your name (or display name), email address, and date of birth. If you sign in with Google we receive your name and email address from your Google profile. We do not collect your Google password or any other Google account data. We also collect technical information such as your IP address and browser type when you use the platform.

We use your information to create and manage your account, operate sweepstake pools you create or join, send transactional emails (such as email verification, pool invitations, and draw results), and enforce our eligibility requirements including age verification and jurisdiction restrictions.

We share data with a small number of trusted third-party services necessary to operate the platform. Supabase (supabase.com) handles authentication and database storage. Your account data is stored on Supabase infrastructure. Resend (resend.com) is used to send transactional emails on our behalf. We do not sell your personal data to any third party, and we do not use your data for advertising purposes.

We use session cookies to keep you logged in. These are strictly necessary for the platform to function. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels.

We retain your account data for as long as your account remains active. If you request account deletion, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. Anonymised usage data may be retained indefinitely.

You have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you. You may also request that we restrict processing of your data. To exercise these rights, contact us at sweeppot@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days.

We take reasonable steps to protect your data, including encrypting data in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to production systems is restricted to authorised personnel. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Sweeppot is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

This policy is governed by the laws of Australia. By using Sweeppot you consent to the collection and use of your data as described in this policy.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on the platform. Continued use of Sweeppot after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
